Server updates

Hi folks. Just a quick word on updates happening to the servers that are out of our control. Last two recent patches have changed the game a lot. First Canada was removed to be replaced by PEI. Then todays update has changed the way the server client stores player infomation. So as you will see when you log onto the server all player data has been removed, even admins. So we all start again from scratch. This is different to the monthly server reset, which removes player structures, loot and resets spawnables. We expect in the future more changes to happen without notice as the game develops from the beta version. The team will try and keep you all updated as quickly as possible.

Server update - Since starting the first millersworld server we have seen visitor numbers climb. So we added more servers to try and cope with the load. After looking at geography of our players and talking with the server providers, we are looking to move the servers to an EU data centre. We believe this will drop the amount of lagg significantly and help us deal with full servers. Once we have good stability we can then look to upgrade the servers. This will allow us to provide additional game servers with great latencies and our own teamspeak server.

Server update - So we have optimised and added 4 gig more ram to millersworld 2. Which for now should address some of the lag issues and also caused a server wipe (sorry guys). Also we have undertaken moving millersworld 1 from canada to a uk based server but are currently having problems with very high latency in game. Although the latency to the actual server is excellent. If the problems persist we will look to another location. The showcase server has also seen a move to a higher spec server bases at our first location in canada and should see great inprovements in latency. We are going to keep millerworld 2 and the showcase servers based in canada for now and have millersoworld 1 located in UK or EU. Eventually we aim to have all servers based on a dedicated server in the UK which will mean higher pings for our american pacific players and lower pings for UK or EU players. We will keep you updated. I'd like to thank all players for putting aside the latency and forming a great community thats willing to stab each other in the back and nick all there shit
